Statewide, Utah’s
housing market is showing signs of growth. A recent report released by the Utah
Association of Realtors displayed a 12.9% increase in Closed Sales across the
state with a 14.0% increase in the Median Sales Price for
the month of October.
With the improving
economy and the job market on the rise, we are seeing more growth in real
estate due in part to an increase in consumer confidence. Although some counties have seen a decline in
Closed Sales as well as in Median Sales Price, though not enough to cause
concern, the evidence shows nothing to indicate a decrease in the supply and
demand within the housing market.
