Susan G. Komen for the Cure is kick-starting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a national "Pink Out" day on Friday, Oct. 5. Holding an awareness-building, fundraising day at the office can be fun and easy way to show you're Passionately Pink for the Cure.
Visit www.passionatelypink.org and register your office by Oct. 5. Within two weeks you’ll receive a kit filled with promotional and educational materials including posters, breast health information, stickers, buttons and more!
Start spreading the word through inter-office announcements, posters in break rooms/common areas. Below are some of our most popular office fundraiser ideas:
Email your Passionately Pink event details and photos to editor@remax.net or post them directly to the RE/MAX Facebook page at facebook.com/remax.
Track and manage donations through your office's Passionately Pink profile page at passionatelypink.org.
To help you get started, here's a step-by-step planning guide:
Step 1: Get Started
Questions? Need Help? Want more information? Contact passionatelypink@komen.org.
Step 2: Spread the Word
• Encourage staff to wear pink on National Pink Out Day
• Hold an all-employee pink get-together that day
• Share breast health information from the kit we send you

• Thank each donor with a Passionately Pink button – they’re included in your kit!
Don’t forget to nominate/appoint people in the office to set up a donation collection zone.
Step 3: Send in your stories and photos from Oct. 5
If you also send photos to passionatelypink@komen.org your office could end up on the Passionately Pink website and in the Komen monthly newsletter.
