Metro Message

Welcome to this edition of The Metro Message .....This week and every week we have the opportunity to take a break from all the stress and anxiety that life throws our way and put it all in perspective. One of the most important things that we must never lose sight of is that we decide how we feel about things. We decide based on the value we place on what happens. We decide based on what we think about the situation. That's why when we put things in the proper perspective of importance we can move on quicker or understand things easier. Think about all the things that you may dwell about. Can you change them all on your own? Probably not. Is there something that you can do to make it better? Probably yes. We all view things differently, but the best part is that we all can view things differently. We decide. This week work on giving those things that give you trouble a different view and see what happens. Happiness is predetermined! Let's make this the best week of the year!!!
Another Chance
by Helen Steiner Rice

How often we wish for another chance
to make a fresh beginning.
A chance to blot out our mistakes
And change failure into winning.

It does not take a new day
To make a brand new start,
It only takes a deep desire
To try with all our heart.

To live a little better
And to always be forgiving
And to add a little sunshine
To the world in which we're living.

So never give up in despair
And think that you are through,
For there's always a tomorrow
And the hope of starting new.
"Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else's."
~ Billy Wilder
"Use what talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best. "
~ Henry Van Dyke
"Wherever we look upon this earth, the opportunities take shape within the problems."
~ Nelson A. Rockefeller
"No one knows what they can do until they try."
~ Les Brown
"Winners never quit and quitters never win."
~ Vince Lombardi

~ Winston Churchill
This week we have the opportunity to do something great. Let's go do it.
