Welcome to this edition of The Metro Message.....I hope each and every one of you had the best weekend of the year. This week as we look forward to all the wonderful opportunities we have in front of us, let us always remember that we determine the degree of success we have by our attitude. The one and only thing we have total control over is the attitude we bring to all the endeavors we face. We can be positive and look for all the good, or we can be negative and take everything as being bad. Let us open our minds and hearts this week and let us have a wonderful attitude regardless of what may come our way. We can handle anything that is handed to us and we will do it with a smile and a determination to find positive solutions to any issues. It is all about our ATTITUDE.
ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER...
Attitude
The Longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our ATTITUDES.
WORDS TO LIVE BY...
"Your mental attitude is something you can control outright and you must use self-discipline until you create a Positive Mental Attitude -- your mental attitude attracts to you everything that makes you what you are." Napolean Hill
"You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you." Brian Tracy
"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first." Mark Twain
Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character." Albert Einstein
"Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions." Harold S. Geneen
"The optimist sees opportunity in every danger; the pessimist sees danger in every opportunity."Winston Churchill
LET'S MAKE THIS THE BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR!!!
